Narrative

Clara KENVIN’s partially decomposed body was found at the bottom of her basement stairs, covered in debris and missing her internal organs. The motive behind her murder is as mysterious as the conditions in which her body was found. Speculation that someone killed Ms. KENVIN and disemboweled her was later questioned by authorities, who conducted tests that suggested the disembowelment might have been caused by animals. Others, including at least one investigator, still suspects that the horrific event took place at the hands of a man and not animals. Regardless, the circumstances behind the death of this reclusive woman, a former army nurse who served in WW II, remains a mystery.
